It's almost 2011!

I am sure you all enjoyed this past week of time off, family get-togethers and sharing of gifts. We had such a wonderful time as well in Sedona. Having all of our kids under one roof and waking up to Ellis was the greatest treat of all.

Now home early though, so yoga is in our future! I am adding classes this week.
Wednesday, tomorrow at 9 and 6...then Saturday at 9, to celebrate New Years Day! We will set our intentions and make the first day of the year a remarkable one.

Come share your joy with all of us and see you (and a friend or relative) as well. They are always welcome.

Take care...xoxoxox

Ellis has a way of bringing people closer together. Tina, Dana and I shared a special day with her. She is now 8 lbs and getting even more animated with her facial expressions and mannerisms. So easy to love....xoxoxox

What I Want For You

I want you to feel empowered!
I want you to feel strong!
I want you to notice your energy and how it is flowing inside and outside of you.
I want you to have an experience of joy and strength and peace and calm.
I want you to learn about your breathe and how it is connected to every action.
I want you to be inspired and touched by the music, the mountains, the people, the energy, and the movements.
I want you to love your self!

What's New?

So many changes happening here. I have decided to be called 'Mimi' when Ellis arrives. I am thrilled to continue the tradition of 'the inspiring one' as my Grandma's did for me.

I have also enjoyed 'going back to school.' Who would have thought that I would be driving to teach yoga at St. Cyril's again! I'll bet if I added all the drives to and from there it would be more than 8000 trips!
OH WAIT! I wasn't including the after school drives as well as the Paling days and meetings etc!!!!! OK, So it's been a huge part of my life and continues to be.

I also decided that the book I am writing is truly writing me. I have been at the whim of release and growth which could only be credited to the focus and desire to help others while in turn helping me. A great process truly.

I thank you for your continued friendship and dedication to yoga.
With love and gratitude,
Karen

Happy October!

So here it is, October of 2010! Sure to be a month of great expectations!

On September 23rd, the anniversary of grandma Rosa's passing, Kelly and i had a wonderful time in Calistoga...mud baths, massages, mineral pool. We rode bikes through the vineyards and to the Farmers Market, went to the wineries and attended a gorgeous wedding overlooking the countryside!

After our time there, we drove to San Francisco and checked in to our hotel in Union Square. On Monday September 27, the anniversary of my Grandfather's passing, we were picked up by Alyssa, a friend, who drove us to the Palace and my grnadparents apartment building there. It was a remarkable day with many special and sweet moments. Divine truly.

And now home with a new perspective, ready for classes once again.

In addition to my classes here at my studio, I am now teaching on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 8:00am. If you would like to join in, go to the school office and fill out a form.

Take care of yourself!
and see you soon.

Guess What?

I realized something this last week. Sometimes we think we are ready for anything, when really we may not be. So how do we get through those challenges that happen upon us? Yoga ! It truly helps bring us back to center when we need it. And when all is running smoothly, it's like money in the bank.

Please look over the calendar of classes and make yoga a priority in your life. You will be so happy you did.

Also, just fyi....I will be teaching two morning classes starting in October at St. Cyril's. So more choices may be available. i will keep you posted.

Take care....Yoga is always here for you.

Just Checking In

I just wanted to check in and see how you are all doing.
I know that the summer vacations of eating, sleeping in and possibly not keeping up
with exercise regiments can make for some uncomfortable attempts at trying on jeans.
But always know that yoga works! When you are back and ready for a healthy routine, yoga will be here waiting for you. I know that after a trip I feel sluggish and stiff. But one class changes all of that! Back to new and ready for the energy of the day again with a clean slate.

Please become a follower if you would like.
Enjoy it all.....xoxo Karen
